Alex Merla was named Head of Wholesale for Southern Europe with HSBC Asset Management in July 2021. Based in Milan, he was most recently with Lyxor Asset Management for nearly 15 years as a Managing Director and Head of Lyxor AM Business Development, Italy, after being promoted several times.
