Peter Sipsas oversees the firm’s expansion into investment professional recruitment.
With over 13 years of experience in retained executive search, Mr. Sipsas brings deep expertise and established relationships in the alternative investment management industry. Prior to joining the firm, he founded PJ Sipsas, an independent executive search consultancy that focused on professional services. In this role, he advised Korn Ferry’s Chairman and CEO on a number of firmwide strategic initiatives, including a build-out of the firm’s Private Equity practice. He also advised the CEOs and management teams at Heidrick & Struggles, Russell Reynolds and Caldwell Partners.
Mr. Sipsas worked on Solomon Page Group’s Capital Markets team in New York and London, where he recruited both sell-side investment banking and sales & trading professionals for large investment banks, as well as investment professionals for private equity firms and hedge funds. In addition, he worked in the Investment Banking and Private Equity practices of CTPartners. Earlier in his career, he was a legal recruiter at Robert Hadley Associates, where he placed Associates at large corporate law firms.
Mr. Sipsas began his career as a Reporter’s Assistant at the cable news channel NY1 and served as a human resources generalist at the Associated Press. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Queens College of the City University of New York.
